The end of the Tre Awen blog and more, just a short report to give all a update.I canned for the first time ever in my life, I have frozen fruits and veggies before but never canned. I do not know why it is called canning, everything is in a jar, go figure. So first I did dill pickles, then kosher dill, then hamburger dill. So to say the least we have dill pickles! I thought I put up enough of asst pickles but I did not account for the ones I am giving away, so I will be making more dills pickles. Just today I picked the fruit from our trees and made plum jelly and peach / raspberry jelly. In the pot it tasted wonderful, looks great too. I hope it all turns out just as I have planned. For a different update, I am here in NC as you all know, spent 16 years inTX, and we are reaching our 5 year mark in NC, so as our original plan goes I have started to look for real estate in TX. We have it planned that we summer here and winter in TX. So we hope it all works out as planned.
